When I was around 4 or 5 years old, I bugged my parents to get me a bright pink slipper. I used to love that color and everything I chose used to be this garish pink. My siblings used to make fun of the color. I was so adamant that I wore them everywhere I went. If I think about it now, it sounds silly, but back then I used to get so mad at them for making fun of me.
