During my school trip to Mysuru Palace in India, I saw a beautiful painting of a woman with a lamp. It was placed in a dark room with enough light shining on it.  I was awestruck. It looked like a real woman standing with a lamp in front of me. I couldn’t believe it was possible to paint so realistically. That memory was etched into my mind and now comes out through my brushstrokes.
